Private Membership Certificate Transfer

A new member can purchase a Membership Certificate from a Permanent Member, (also known as “Stock”, issued prior to 2024) to satisfy the new member's Initiation Fee. Membership Certificate transfers are accepted and arranged privately between buyer and seller through personal contacts or public marketplaces such as Facebook or Craigslist. Use this form to request a transfer of a Membership/Stock Certificate issued before February 2024 to a new member so it can be converted into a Member Initiation Fee. This form can be completed by either the buyer or seller, and requires uploads of photos of the front and back of the physical Certificate being transferred. IMPORTANT NOTE: All prospective members will be invited to join in the order they got on the waitlist once space becomes available, regardless of whether they made a private membership transfer or not. Private transfer does NOT entitle a buyer to jump the line.

Permanent Member Status*
I understand the implications of this Member Transfer as stated below.
I understand that this Member Transfer means that SELLER relinquishes Permanent Member status and must pay an Initiation Fee to be eligible for a future membership unless applying for a Senior Membership. BUYER satisfies their Member Initiation Fee purchase with this transfer and becomes a Permanent Member of Ridgewood Pool.
